Executive Director Joseph Occhipinti announces that the National Police Defense Foundation will be taking the lead in answering an urgent request from Chief Inspector Sergio Cirelli of the Italian State Police regarding aid to Amatrice, Italy, site of a devastating earthquake that has claimed the lives of at least 292 people to date. Immediate aid is needed to assist in clothing, feeding, housing and the medical treatment of survivors of one of the most devastating earthquakes in recent Italian history, as the weather turns colder there.

The NPDF earnestly needs tax deductible donations to help first responders and victims of this tragedy in their  struggle to survive.
