On September 19, 2018, after attending a 9/11 memorial ceremony at the World Police Museum, NPDF Executive Director Joseph Occhipinti met with NPDF Delegate Chief Inspector Sergio Cirelli of the Italian State Police in Rome. He had been assigned to the Italian Consulate in New York City for almost a decade where he worked on multiple joint U.S-Italian police investigations involving organized crime. Delegate Cirelli was presented with a Proclamation from the New York State Senate and Senator Martin Golden for his lifelong accomplishments in law enforcement. Special Congratulation to Delegate Cirelli on his recent promotion and pending retirement.
