On November 17, 2014, the NPDF formally requested an internal investigation be conducted by Sirius XM Radio executives involving certain instances wherein confidential credit card information was provided to their employees and no transactions ever occurred. The unauthorized dissemination of credit card information especially in certain foreign countries makes it more difficult for U.S. law enforcement authorities to investigate suspected fraud. It is recommended that any credit card payment to Sirius Radio be processed through an American representative and always obtain the employees complete name, location and employee number.
