ATF ADMINISTRATOR RECOGNIZES NPDF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

On December 15, 2021, the NPDF Executive Director Joseph Occhipinti was recognized by Acting Director Marvin Richardson of the Bureau of Alcohol  Tobacco & Explosives (ATF) at a conference in Weston, Florida.

Director Richardson recognized the efforts of Director Occhipinti and the National Police Defense Foundation for their long-term efforts in establishing family support and memorial funds for ATF agents seriously injured or killed in the line of duty.

The most recent family support fund was established for ATF Special Agent Adam Daniels who was critically wounded during an intense gun battle with a convicted felon out on parole  in Nashville, Tennessee on October 5, 2021.  

Special thanks to ATF SAC Hugo Barrera (ret), who serves as the Administrator for NPDF Federal Officers Coalition, in organizing the conference that also recognized other non-profit entities that provided assistance to ATF personnel and their family members.
