Good afternoon. As you are aware, a Rockville Centre Police Officer, Anthony Federico, has been charged by the Nassau County District Attorney’s office for an incident which occurred while he was on duty arresting three combatants. Since this is a criminal investigation, legal representation is not covered by his retained labor attorneys, leaving Anthony to pay for this on his own. This legal battle could cost Anthony well over $130,000.00.
Anthony is married, and has a wife and a 2 year old son. People who know Anthony say that he is a devoted husband, father, friend and a great man. He is also honest, kind hearted, and the first to help someone in need. Anthony loves being a Police Officer and helping people. He has received letters of praise from Rockville Centre residents and has a great reputation amongst his fellow police officers as being a calm, level headed police officer with great integrity.
In order to support our friend, brother, and co-worker, the Rockville Centre PBA is hosting a fundraiser to help defray the legal costs Anthony is incurring to defend himself in criminal court.
