Our brothers and sisters from the Federal Air Marshal Service are under attack from Congress and they need your help! Congress has proposed reducing the FAMS budget by $208 million, which is more than a 25% reduction in their overall operating budget. As if that was not enough, Congress further proposed to close six field offices and realign the entire agency. As you can surmise, the proposed budget cuts and office closures would be devastating and we need your help to prevent it from going through.

Attached to this email is a template letter that you can send to your elected representatives. All you need to do is address it to the appropriate Congressman/Senator and provide your name, address, phone number and email. Due to security concerns, it is better to fax the letter directly to the Congressman’s office rather than mail it. If you need to look up your Representative and Senator’s contact information, please go to http://thomas.loc.gov.

Remember, don’t go it alone.

Stay safe,

Nate Catura
Executive Vice President
