The NPDF mourns the loss of CORE Founder Roy Innis, a dedicated civil rights leader who had the courage to support law enforcement officials when it was politically incorrect to do so. During the early 1990’s, Roy worked with major NYPD line organizations in helping to expose major injustices against the police. Roy who had a son in the NYPD helped to expose how foreign drug lords and criminals were intentionally manipulating civil rights laws to their advantage in an effort to insulate themselves from prosecution. Roy was truly an “American Hero”, dedicated civil rights leader and friend that will be cherished and missed.
