NPDF HONOREE’S COURAGEOUS EFFORTS TO TELL THE TRUTH ABOUT COPS

The NPDF 2016 Award Honoree Heather Mac Donald, a Manhattan Institute scholar and author of the 2016 book “The War on Cops,” was the unfortunate target of an angry student crowd at the  Claremont McKenna College in California on April 6, 2017. These uneducated students yelling “F*ck the police” and “Black Lives Matter,” succeeded in terminating her lecture that required her exit from the college with a police escort. It is unfortunate that such anti-police sentiment exists in many liberal colleges in the United States that is often organized by radical groups. The NPDF commends Heather McDonald for her courage to educate our students as to the dedicated cops who perform on a daily basis a dangerous job in protecting our citizenry and their fight to combat crime, drugs and terrorism.
