NPDF FUNDS HOLIDAY PARTY FOR FOSTER AND ADOPTIVE CHILDREN AND PARENTS

On Saturday. December 16, 2017 the NPDF “Operation Kids” program was a key sponsor of a holiday celebration for the Monmouth County (NJ) “Foster & Adoptive Family Services” at the historical “American Hotel” in Freehold Borough, New Jersey.

In attendance were over one hundred children and their guardians who were welcomed by a delegation of NPDF and law enforcement officers from the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and the Howell Township Police Department. On display was various police vehicles that included SWAT armored vehicle and communication van.

The children were individually greeted by Police K9 “Skye” and his handler Sheriff Officer Kurt Kroeper.  The celebration offered a variety of cuisine delights from “The American Hotel” while the children and their guardians danced to the holiday cheer music. Of course, the final surprise came when Santa Claus finally arrived on a fire engine from the Freehold Borough Fire Department where each child received a holiday gift.

Special Thanks to our NPDF Delegate Martin Mabe for helping to organizing such a wonderful event!
