Humanitarian Mission to aid injured Ecuadoran Police Officers: NPDF officials traveled to Ecuador in January 2013 to donate 5 motorized wheelchairs to the Commanding General of the Ecuadoran Police for five paralyzed police officers injured in the line of duty. These police officers’ lives have now been enhanced with their increased personal mobility and independence. The Commanding General of the Ecuadoran National Police held a press conference in Quito, Ecuador commending the NPDF for their donation.
